Charles Maccora Design is a boutique building design studio based in Geelong, with a portfolio extending across Geelong, Melbourne, and the Surf Coast. We work on a diverse range of projects, from bespoke single residences and multi-residential developments to extensions, heritage sensitive works, and commercial spaces.

The studio is dedicated to delivering high quality projects with a strong emphasis on creative design. Each project is guided by a meticulous process, combining thorough research, careful evaluation of the site and its context, extensive regulatory expertise, and open collaboration with clients, councils, and consultants. Every design is unique, shaped around our clients’ needs, with the goal of creating architecture that enhances and transforms the way it is experienced.

Our services include conceptual and schematic design, 3D modelling, detailed design development, town planning documentation, reports and submissions, and full construction documentation. Joinery detailing and project specifications can also be provided upon request.

Charles Maccora holds a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) from Deakin University, and became a registered building practitioner (Building Designer) in 2011. With over 20 years of experience, Charles has a strong passion for modern and contemporary architecture.
